Buses will service Orchard Road and CBD/Chinatown

(August 19, 2010) – Marina Bay Sands has launched two Premium Bus services to make
it more convenient for guests to visit Singapore’s newest integrated resort.
Guests can now hop on our brand-new 35-seater coaches and travel to Marina Bay
Sands in air-conditioned comfort, from bus stops along Orchard Road and the
Central Business District (CBD) / Chinatown area.
The Orchard Road route (Premium 757) will run in a loop service to pick up
passengers at bus stops along Tanglin Mall, Delphi Orchard, Orchard Plaza,
MacDonald House, Bayfront Avenue and Orchard Boulevard (Opposite Four Seasons
Hotel).
The CBD/Chinatown service (Premium 756) will service bus stops at Outram MRT,
Pearl's Centre, Church Street (beside OCBC Centre), Bayfront Avenue, Cross
Street (opposite PWC building) and Outram Road.
The buses are operated by Marina Bay Sands and have different charges for the
two routes. Fees for adults start from S$4; whilst those for senior citizens
and students are from S$2.50. Fees for children start from S$1.50. The service
runs from 10 am to 10 pm daily, with a frequency range of 10 - 20 minutes.
“As traffic to Marina Bay Sands continues to grow, we are pleased to launch our
Premium Bus service. This private service will offer a more elevated level of
comfort and service to guests travelling to our property,” said Marina Bay
Sands President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thomas Arasi.
Redeem for food and beverage
Guests can simply save their bus fare receipts and redeem in full against their
expenditure at Marina Bay Sands’ own food and beverage establishments, such as
SweetSpot, The Nest, Tong Dim and Rise. More shops and restaurants will
participate in this program in the coming months.
